About Mitchell Danton

I've had the pleasure of making a living as an editor for the past 25 years in this wonderful business. Along the way I've worked with incredible people on high-profile projects. My career highlights include four Primetime Emmy nominations for editing the hit reality show Survivor and being a member of the Eddie- and Emmy-winning team of editors on the ABC miniseries The Path to 9/11.

Over the past three decades I have edited more than 200 hours of primetime television on popular shows like Beverly Hills 90210, Dawson's Creek, Switched at Birth, Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce, Absentia, FBI: Most Wanted and Walker. Being a collaborator on these successful series has taught me numerous lessons about being a great team player. My biggest assets are that I'm dedicated, meticulous and easy to work with. I also have a deep appreciation for the creative process and how skillful editing can be utilized to elevate the characters and the story.

In 2015 I was initiated into American Cinema Editors, an honorary society of editors who strive to advance the art and prestige of the editing profession. My career goal is to continue to edit high-quality film and television projects with people who are talented, creative and share my passion for the art and craft of editing. Even after many years of being an editor in Hollywood on some truly amazing shows, every day in the editing room is still a new adventure for me!
